I certainly didn't notice them, though, and my point is that the demo I played 9 months ago absolutely does give a good idea of what to expect from the game. There might be others? I bought your game full price because I fell in love with the demo. They're likely to finish the first map in less time than that, which would let them compare to the demo anyway. If someone really feels like the demo lied to them, they still have 2 hours to refund.

Watching someone play something on youtube or whatever isn't anywhere near the same thing as experiencing it for yourself, and it doesn't matter if things aren't identical in the demo to the release version.Īt worst, you can add a warning/disclaimer to the demo as a splash screen to let people know some things have changed, if you really want. I don't think watching the game being played is the same thing, but if the demo didn't reflect how the game is now then it makes sense. While we may release an updated demo in the future, it isn't currently a top priority. Therefore, we have chosen to remove it, particularly considering the abundance of media available, such as streams and YouTube reviews, that showcase what the game is like now. It doesn't accurately reflect the current state of the full game.
